11973 Mustang Convertible 351 Cleveland 4V C6 Automatic.Up for auction is a one owner very nicely optioned 1973 Mustang convertible in original condition. This Mustang is a special order black with black interior "Q" code convertible. Options include: special paint, competition suspension w/staggered shocks, instrumentation group, deluxe interior with console, power top, power steering and power brakes. The car retains its original numbers matching drive train, a 351 Cleveland 4V with C6 transmission and 3.25:1 9 inch rear axle. The car runs good and drives but has a transmission leak at the front pump seal. The car has all its original sheet metal. The rear quarters have had some previous repair and will need some additional work. The floor pans will also need some work as will the bottom of the truck drops. The doors have some bubbling at the corners. The hood, fenders and trunk lid are solid. Torque boxes, front & rear frame rails, fender apron tops, shock towers are all in good shape. The trunk floor is also solid and in great shape. The black deluxe interior is original and in excellent condition. It is complete with tachometer & instrumentation group, high back seats and console. The white power top is also in excellent condition. The power top motor runs but has a leak at the reservoir and will not hold fluid. Top still can be put down manually with ease. The glass is the original and in good condition with only a very minor chip in the windshield. The front window trim is in excellent shape along with the head lamp and tail lamp trim. This is a great project vehicle that can be driven & enjoyed while you fix it up. The car is ready for easy transport, I am also available to help load on my end. The car has its VIN on the dash & engine block, door tag and axle tag. I also have a clean Michigan title. Please do not hesitate to ask questions or for the extra pictures.
