1999 Dodge Ran 2500 4x4 Diesel Cummins 24v Auto Extra Cab Long Bed 8ft, 241k miles Runs but needs work. Power windows and locks with remote control, power driver seat, Kenwood stereo, Power Edge engine programmer, Electric trailer brakes controller, Gooseneck plate, 4 inch turbo back exhaust. I am not a specialist on Dodge trucks, but this is what I know about the truck: the alternator is not charging looks like a voltage regulator problem, ground problem, dont know for sure. Check engine light on due to MAP (Boost Sensor) malfunction, tried to reset it but it comes right back on, so the engine runs in limp mode no power. Missing front drive shaft, oil leaks on the front end, needs body work, tires and brakes, windshield has a crack, side glass needs to be reattached I do have it. The engine starts and idles smooth, it revs up to redline good, transmission goes in all gears but sometimes jerks when it upshifts, do not sens any slipping though. I drove the truck down the road up to about 50mph but it won't go too long on batteries only. This is a project truck, fixer upper, farm or construction use. I don't know much about this truck so you need to check it. I bought it to build like a Ram PowerWagon truck, but right now I don't have the time to deal with it.
