This 1975 Ford F100 Custom long bed is most definitely a project. I just bought this and brought it home from Texas to California, sight unseen to find it more work than I am willing to do. The good: Body has no rust, frame and undercarriage have surface rust only. Front clip very good. Fender wells are solid. The front bumper looks near perfect and the grill looks great other than faded out. The front end suspension has been lowered with a correct after market lowering kit. Ive seen similar in LMC for $1000+. Factory A/C (don't know if it works) Factory power steering (don't know if it works) This truck looks to have the original motor in it. The truck looks minimally altered from original besides the lowering job and after market wheels. The bad: Both doors have dents, the outside panels of bed are beat up. The inside of bed look fair, Tailgate is warped and several dents. Motor may need some work, but it doesn't smoke. It starts right up, although it idles a little rough. Seams like maybe an automatic choke issue, or smog equipment acting up. The exhaust pipes are rusty , carb needs rebuilt, power steering needs rebuild, radiator has a few small leaks. Bench seat needs new foam and cover, dash pad is cracked in several places as is the steering wheel. I have bought some additional parts for this truck- seat cover, seat belts, rear tail light lenses, breather caps, seal kit for the power steering/ steering gear, inside door handles, brown vinyl paint to spruce up the door panels, some dash light bulbs. I have buffed out the faded paint to a nice shine. I have over 4k in this truck, my loss-your gain.
