Up for bids is a true barn find. This bike was pulled right out of a barn. This is either a 1971 or 72 SL175. The engine kicks over nicely, seems to have really good compression. Brakes work. Currently the motor is just sitting in place not bolted in. The fenders are wired into place not bolted in. The side covers are not cracked at all. The head pipes are very rusty, right pipe is cut off. The muffler appears solid. The motor mounts and several nuts and bolts are included. The seat pan is in good condition the padding and cover not so much. I would consider this a parts bike but I guess it could be brought back to life. There is NO TITLE and the bike does NOT run. I would prefer local pick up but I am willing to ship anywhere. Any and all shipping arrangements and fees are the responsibility of the buyer. The bike will be picked up at my location, I will not travel. On Mar-16-16 at 16:15:47 PDT, seller added the following information: If this bike does not sell it will be torn apart and scrapped. Hate to see this happen I'm sure there are many good parts on it and actually as a whole it is actually worth saving. I need room and need it gone.
