General Info: Listed is my all original 1996 Volvo 850R TURBO Sedan, VIN #YV1LS5826T2344414, and with 85,896 original, extremely low miles. It has its original Volvo Owner’s Manual and documents/records. It is color code correct Volvo black with black/gray leather/suede interior, and is an ACCIDENT FREE vehicle (please review IMMACULATE vehicle history report). I purchased this vehicle a year and a half ago from a local South Florida gentleman for resale. Upon ignition, the engine instantly starts, and RPMs are steady and smooth. BRAND NEW: Hexa Forceum, High Performance Tires, 4 Silver Zinc, Drilled, Slotted and Chamfered (tapered edge) Performance Rotors, Front and Rear Quality Ceramic Brake Pads, Battery, Tune Up (NEW Spark Plugs, Plug wires, air cleaner, oil filter, fuel filter etc.) just 50 miles ago. The 5-Cylinder 2.3L TURBO (original, larger performance Turbo -works great) R Engine is healthy, original, with no burning oil, and no leaks. The oil dipstick is clean, with no indications of burnt/carbonated oil. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly and responsively, and transmission fluid is clear. All steering components are in fine working condition, with no evidence of play or “slop”. Power brakes, when applied, are solid, responsive and even, with no rotor vibration. The A/C system blows very cold air (heat is working fine as well). Exhaust system is quiet. Engine cooling system operates properly, and radiator has plenty of fluid. As always, the Certificate of Title is free and clear of any liens (no flood, reconditioned or salvage problems. Options: Original (and extremely healthy) Volvo 5 cylinder, R TURBO engine, Automatic Transmission, Power: Windows, Steering, Brakes, Cold Air Climate Control, Security, CD & Sound System, Tint, original Volvo Wheels and Brand New High Performance Hexa Forceum 215/45 ZR17 Tires: 100% tread Disclosure: To transform this already rare, low mile, BLACK 850R SEDAN into an immaculate show car (doesn't require excessive effort!): For superior paint quality, auto exterior needs to be properly prepped and repainted. There are a few slight undercarriage spots of surface oxidation, but NO damaging rust -SEE PHOTOS. There are a couple of very minor, isolated oxidation areas: around edges of sunroof, screw heads on top of left and right struts in engine bay, 1-2 wheels needs to be blast-cleaned or dipped, then repainted, 3 very small bubbles, 1 on each of the passenger lower doors, and the fuel door. Interior needs nice, new headliner. Sunroof was working intermittently, now it's not -not sure (needs servicing and is probably minor!). Windshield wiper arms need to be lightly sanded and painted (very minor/simple) and needs some nice, new wiper blades. Airbag SRS light is on (this car has NO accident issues..NONE). Glove Box door needs a new hinge. Steering wheel has minor upholstery flaw. Seats have light wear. Driver door latch connecting link rod needs to be reattached (I'm guessing -probably minor/simple). Windshield has 2 very tiny little stars. Antenna needs to be replaced. A standard fuse needs to be replaced as well. A couple of the wheels need to be compounded (there are some very light dots of white paint that blew into wheels from neighbor painting there house with a spray gun). Center caps and badges (I do have these) require light adhesion work, for wheels/trunk to be correct/complete etc.. Trunk needs spare..... With sufficient effort, this Volvo 850R can be elevated to top condition, and will be a beautiful, valuable, low-mileage example, of the collector car industry's newest classic this year, in 2016.
