Considered by many to be one of the most recognizable and iconic body styles, these classic roadsters are reliable, comfortable and really fun to drive. This great looking green convertible has been very well cared for and maintained, and everything on this vehicle works just as you would expect. It has recently passed New York States' rigorous vehicle inspection for safety and emissions with flying colors. It sure looks amazing at 50 years old and even and the hardtop headliner is flawless. This gleaming example is sporting the correct exterior and interior colors that the car was delivered with, according to the build sheet that we have shown in our collection of pictures. Living in a protected climate controlled storage facility, this particular convertible is very intact and free from rust and other defects that are frequently found on these models, that have not been as well cared for. The margins are all nice, the doors, trunk and hood all open and close correctly. The appropriate convertible canvas top is in great condition and it is easy to put down and up again, with only one person. When we drove the car, to shoot the pictures, it started right up, ran great, shifted as designed and steered and stopped with little to no effort. It was super easy to operate and loads of fun to drive! Since this car is obviously very well put together, we didn't want to bog our bidders down with pages of Mercedes-Benz history and performance information. We consider that most of the interested automotive enthusiasts, who may be looking at this listing, will know as much, or more, about these particular cars than we do. If you do need additional generic information, it is abundant through the use of a simple internet search. There is a full trunk mat, covered spare wheel and tire for the car (shown), that sits in it's proper position along with jack tools all nested in the squeaky clean trunk area. As shown, there is also a hard to find intact tool roll as well as an original first aid kit. The very few noticed minor imperfections on this car would be limited to some tiny bumper dents and scratches that you would expect from a lightly used vehicle. Regular service attention to this vehicle means that you can count on the predictable reliability and performance that this car will provide for the new owner. As you can easily see, the interior is spectacular, and the pictures speak for themselves. The sound system has been upgraded to a more modern version that will allow you to listen to CDs, as well as the radio. The wheels, beauty rings and hubcaps are all perfect with no curb rash and there is the majority of life left on the matching all weather Michelin radial white wall tires. This car is a currently registered and driven vehicle and we have a clean transferable title in hand. The car runs and drives superbly and everything works. This car is 50 years old, so please forgive us if we've overlooked something minor.
