Up for sale is my 1955 Chevrolet 3100 truck. This truck just underwent a frame off, nut and bolt restoration and is a real looker! I wanted something fairly original but with a modern drivetrain. This truck sports a freshly rebuilt 350 sbc with an ARP high-rise intake and Holley Street Avenger carb. The engine is mated to a freshly rebuilt Chevy 700r4 automatic tranny with Lokar shifter and capped off with a Ford 8.8 rear end with 4.10 gears and Yukon Spartan locker to make it a dream to drive on the highway. To contain all this power we added power steering and disc brakes all the way around. This truck gets a crowd every time I take it out. My son wants to restore a muscle car otherwise I’d keep it. I have over $25.000 in receipts for materials and parts invested into this resto as well as pictures from start to finish. Following is a partial list of what was done. The only outside mod I did was added a rear roll pan and left off the hood emblem. If you want to put a rear bumper on it it’s a super easy thing to do. I have the original hood emblem that is in real nice condition that will be included with the truck. I also have a brand new set of stainless deluxe cab moldings that I’ll throw in if you want to dress it up a bit more. Body and frame sandblasted to bare metal, epoxy coated and painted Indian Turquoise and Bombay Ivory. There is absolutely NO rust on this baby. Floor inside of cab was rhino lined for heat and sound barrier as was the underside of the cab. The door steps and inside of the bed have been color matched and rhino lined. We even Rhino lined with color matched material the inside of the wheel wells All handles, locks, mirrors, nuts bolts, screws and fasteners were replaced top to bottom. We used stainless steel on all the hardware. All new gas tank, brake and fuel lines. Power brakes were added and converted old brake system to disc brakes. Completely new wiring from front to back New gauge cluster, dash knobs, cables…well everything on the interior. We added a really nice stereo system and it’s hidden inside the glove compartment. The seat was reupholstered, headliner installed to match and carpet installed. The bed wood is custom milled from Ash and has 8 coats of DuPont clear coat on it. Stainless bed strips added as shown. Brand new Coker wide whites on color matched steelies with baby moons. This is an original radio and heater delete truck.
