This is a 1974 BMW 2002. Rare black, Non-sunroof car. 4sp. 126k miles.I found this car a few weeks ago, and had to save it.. She has been sitting long enough to have lichen growing on it. After buffing and polishing, we found a very straight piece of awesome!The exterior has come back very nicely, for a 40 year old car... There is a little rust, but nothing structural. Floors and strut towers are all in great shape. She needs a paint job of course....The interior is all there and include the optional and rare Flofit seats. They match the rest of the interior in grey.It has new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Starts right up, and drives great. All electronics work, But needs a blower motor for the heater.I did a compression test and the results are good:Cyl1. 210psi2. 200psi3. 205psi4. 200psi(this test was done with a MAC Tool's CT155)Sport suspension, with Koni shocks, and sway bars, all in great shape, and handles very nicely. Newer tire's, on factory turbines. the other rims in the photos can be had at an additional price. This would be the perfect restoration project, while being a daily driver.This is the car that put BMW on the map. The original 'Shark Nose". It is the 100th anniversary of BMW this year.
