Here we have a beautiful 1976 Honda CB400 Super Sport. The bike was originally sold from Redline Honda in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I am the 4th owner. The third owner purchased it from Redline Honda (same store as original) in 2013. He spent about $1000 on it: - New seat cover - NOS Honda front fender - Carb clean and tune - New side covers - new paint and decals (clear over decals). - New tires - Horn relay I purchased the bike in September 2014. I spent several months thereafter detailing the bike from stem to stern! I put over $1500 into it: - I sent the tank to Precision Motorcycle Painting in Indiana for dent removal, sealing and paint - including NOS Honda fuel cap. - New NOS Honda mirrors (originals included in auction) - New reproduction rear blinkers (originals included in auction) - New reproduction Oil Pan from David Silver Spares. (the original had a crack - it wasn't leaking but I didn't want to take a chance) - New air filter - Oil & filter change - New plugs Everything else is original as far as I know. The bike must have been stored indoors it's entire life because there is no rust anywhere! I polished the wheels, exhaust (solid, no leaks) and the rear fender - they look great with very little pitting. The bike runs and drives great. I only rode about 130 miles last summer. It's a great example of Honda's engineering prowess. Absolutely amazing for the mid 70's! I'm sure the bike will continue to increase in value. Everything is done for you!
