Vehicle Detail

Let me start off by saying I am relisting as a result of a bidder (guitarman4266). So if you are bidding and win the auction be a man and follow thru with the transaction. I had a few questions last time why I list with no reserve as I do with all my auctions and I feel that the car speaks for itself and people will bid it's worth. Well here is a rare vintage drag car that could easily be put back to an original 1970 Mach 1. This Pony Express Mustang drag raced on the streets and dragstrip back in the 1970/80's and was a low 10 second car. I bought this car back in 2007 from the original owner and have had it under the car cover and only driven a few times. It sounds really good. It has a notebook full of records on the engine and driveline with all the parts/numbers and machine work performed. Has a very nice custom paint job. Also a top loader 4 speed with a vertigate shifter and Hurst line lock. Rearend is a 9" Nodular case 31 spline axles with a 4.86 gear. Hooker headers, Accel dual point dist., deep sump oil pan, Holley carb., Lakewood scatter shield Hays clutch, pressure late and flywheel. I am the second owner as the original owner purchased the car new from Riverside Ford in Newport, Ky. Has original factory tach dash, power disc brakes, rear spoiler, rear window slats, and original shaker. It has not been tubbed and roll bar can easily be taken back out. I bought the car knowing that I could go back to a original car. But with the prices going up on these old vintage drag cars I just left it the way I bought it. It appears to have all the original body parts and floors. The aluminum panels in front are just riveted over top the original aprons, the rear quarters/wheel houses have not been altered, has the disc brakes, original gas tank with electric fuel pump. If you need a shipper for the car you can call Discount Auto Transport at 1-888-671-9285 ask for Mike my zip is 41018. This car is sold as is with no warranty. All sales are final and you are bidding to own as there is NO RESERVE and if you have less than 5 feedback please email me before bidding. A 1,000 non refundable deposit due 48 hours of auctions end and balance due 5 days of that. I do sell worldwide. Has a clear Ky. title in my name. Any questions please email me. You are more than welcome to come and view the car before bidding. This is a really cool car and very high optioned car so don't let it get away. Thanks for looking... Kevin Marti, On Feb-10-16 at 15:15:36 PST, seller added the following information: Great news just done some checking on the engine and this is a vin numbers matching engine and this is very rare find. Also wanted to let everyone know that it still retains the original vin tag on the left side dash and has never been removed. This car has been kept inside most of its life when I bought the car it had been sitting in a heated garage concrete floor with a car cover over it for many years and since I have had it.
