Vehicle Detail
1970 Nova with 502 create motor and TH400 automatic transmission. Was put together in early 1999 and has less then 6000 miles on the build. I have a complete inventory of what went into this Nova. It was not a professional build. Everything works on the car and is a great platform for restoration. Car runs very strong eats up pavement when you mash the throttle. It is started monthly to keep things in check. Car is solid with no major rust problems. Can talk to you for hours about this car. If this is of interest give me a call and we can discuss. === UPDATE === I will add some more photos later today to include interior shots. Also, I do not want misrepresent this car. It is in working order (has small fuel leak). It goes and goes good. That being said I would put it in the project category and is work in progress. Its a great platform to start from...body/motor/trans all there for someone to make it there own. I do not have the time nor the resources to do the work. This was a California car until 1999 when it was relocated to PA and then to NC. It was garage kept and explains the minimal rust. It started life as a 250 and was turned into a 502. Update = 2/2/16 @ 530pm I appreciate all the interest and feedback so far on my Nova. I did not have time for new photos today in the daylight however I will have more exterior/interior shots by noon tomorrow 2/3. I pulled it our of the garage a hour or so ago. It does start and run and everything works. There is a fuel leak at the gas tank connection when it is runny. I appears to be some crackled tubing. As with any car this old that has pretty much been sitting for the last 5 years and should be looked at by a professional before taking it to the drive-in. Thats just a matter of safety. When i say its a good platform (i am no expert) to start i mean that the car is complete but things like the wiring/breaks/ ect need tended to.
