Hello, today we have for sale a 1981 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am 301 Turbo. The odometer reads 89,334, but we are unsure of the actual mileage and if the odometer is original to the car. We believe the motor and transmission are original, but are unable to verify.It has had a complete interior overhaul, was repainted 5 years ago, and a new vinyl sticker package (Nascar Pacecar). The motor runs strong, but smokes a little until it warms up. All the electronics work, except the power windows are quite weak. Also has new rear brake rotors, brake pads (front and rear), aluminum radiator, heater core, T-top and door weatherstripping, and restored turbo-fan wheels with new tires. New speakers have also been installed in the stock locations. There is a small patch of bondo on the passenger door that was cracked and has been repaired, and the door itself sags a little bit. The body is otherwise pretty straight with little to no rust. The car has its original air conditioning system, but it either needs to be recharged or converted to R134a. The hood isn't color correct for the Nascar vinyl package. The car recently passed smog and the title is clear.This car is also listed on the local Craigslist.
