PRICE REDUCED $1000 WINTER PRICE DROP ONLY BECAUSE I NEED THE MONEY RIGHT NOW This is a very collectible, beautiful, well preserved, classic 1979 Honda CB750K that I purchased in Ohio in late-November. It had been in storage since fall, 2014. In preparation for storage, as you're supposed to do, the owner had removed the spark plugs and squirted some engine oil into each cylinder. At the time of purchase, it was idling way too high, so I rebuilt the carburetors. Since purchasing it, I have ridden it over 200 miles, without any problems. I was hoping to make it my primary rider, but I am in immediate need of capital, so I have to try to sell it. Normally, because it is collectible, is such a beautiful bike, is in such great condition, runs so well, has very low mileage, and is outfitted with an original Honda fairing, luggage rack, and luggage cases, I would not sell it this cheap! But, I have no choice. I haven't even polished it, yet. These photos show you the condition of this bike as it was when I picked it up (with the Honda luggage cases mounted on it), and after I got back to Virginia and took it to the hand-spray car wash, followed by a quick wipe-down using microfiber cloth. So, it can actually look better than it does, here, in these photos, with a little Mother's Chrome Polish, elbow grease, and an hour or so of your time. At the time the photos were taken, the chain needed lubricating because it had been in storage, as you can see. It has only 16,523 original miles on it. The only part of this Honda that's not stock is the 4 in 1 exhaust. This bike comes equipped with some very special, relatively rare Honda factory equipment: a Honda fairing with matching paint job, a Honda luggage rack, and three Honda luggage cases in beautiful shape! This bike is in amazing condition and was obviously extremely well cared for! The gas tank and side covers have no noticeable scratches. In the second photo, the right hand side cover is missing because I had the battery out for charging. You can see it in place in the third photo. The seat is like new. In general, there is VERY little surface rust on this bike. The tires both have great tread. Almost all of the chrome is in beautiful shape. It's really a sharp machine, and I get compliments on it wherever I go. The black paint with red trim is really a great combination! It starts and runs flawlessly, all accessories and systems work as they should, it's very quick, it handles great, it has no leaks, and as far as I know, it needs nothing to continue being a great runner! Please know that you can bid with confidence because I will stand behind this bike and the fact that it is exactly as described and pictured. If you are dissatisfied in any way with the bike when you pick it up or prior to shipment. I will fully refund your deposit and you will be immediately released from any and all contractual obligations regarding the purchase of this bike. A $500 deposit via PayPal will be required within 24 hours of auction close. The balance of the purchase price must be paid via cash or cashier’s check within 3 days of auction close. Full payment must be made (and payments cleared) before the title and/or the vehicle is released. If all required funds are not received as indicated above, I reserve the right to keep the deposit and resell the motorcycle by re-listing or to another bidder. I am happy to assist with shipping arrangements, but the winning bidder takes full responsibility for pickup and/or shipping at his/her cost. This motorcycle may be listed locally for sale, and the Ebay listing may be deleted prior to auction end if it is sold.
