VEHICLE DESCRIPTION Up for auction is a 1997 Ford F150 XL 4x4 truck. This truck is lifted and is ready to go where ever you want it to. If you are a hunter, beach comber or fisherman, you need this truck. Bid today and bid to own. SPECIFICATIONS: 4.6 liter V-8 rated at 231HP @ 4750 RPM, 293 ft-lb torque @ 3500 RPM, front engine all rear drive, 5 speed manual transmission, fuel capacity 25 gallons. FEATURES: Power steering, power brakes, 4x4, air conditioning and AM/FM/CD. VEHICLE CONDITION: INTERIOR: The interior of this truck is ok. The seat is ripped up, but can be easily fixed with a seat cover. The headliner is starting to fall down and has some rips in it. EXTERIOR: The body is straight with no major dent or scratches. There are some minor dings and scratches around the truck as should be expected. It looks like this truck was repainted at some point. EXTERIOR TRIM: All trim is intact with normal wear and tear for this vintage vehicle. GAUGES/INSTRUMENTS: All gauges and instruments are working as they should. EXTERIOR LIGHTS: All lights are in good working order. ENGINE/DRIVE TRAIN: The engine and drive train all work as they should. The engine starts right up with no unusual noises or vibrations and no smoke. The transmission shifts as it should. The battery is weak, and the alternator may need to be replaced. TIRES: The tires have approximately 50% tread remaining. BRAKES: The brakes are quiet, stop smoothly with no swerving or diving. The pedal feel and response are normal and the parking brake works as expected. UNDERHOOD: All fluid levels are up to specification. TERMS OF SALE: A $250 deposit within 3 days of auction end and balance to be paid within 5 business days. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, cashier’s check or bank check only! Buyer will arrange, pay for, and have the vehicle shipped within 30 days of close of auction. We will be glad to help with transportation. NJ residents will be required to pay 7% NJ sales tax.
