Very original survivor car. It has spent the last 30 years in Modesto California. It has had a rust repair on drivers floor, looks to be a good quality repair. Other than that i can find no rust. I bought it from the original owners widow. Her late husband drove it in to their garage in 1995 . There it remained until I pulled it out this year. He changed the gas and oil every 12 months from 1995 up until he passed away in 2014. He installed an electric pump on the gas tank to make draining the tank easier. I got the car home, put fresh gas, oil, and a battery in it. It fired up first time. Also installed a new master cylinder. The engine and drive train are in very good shape. Engine is strong. Trans shifts as it should. I think the mileage is accurate but can't guarantee it. The car has cruise control, power seats, power brakes, power windows and AC. Everything works except AC (pump was making a noise so i removed the belt). The interior is in very good shape. One seam coming apart on the driver's side, but that is all. Dash is perfect. Rear parcel tray has been replaced with a piece of carpet. The body is in very good shape. No rust or rust repairs. The paint is original!!! nothing hidden under a cheap respray. but the hood has been resprayed at some stage . Also there has been a touch up around the l/h rear tail light. The bumper is also slightly bent in the same spot (grandpa dent I think). All I have done since I've had the car is wash it and give it a coat of wax. It is very presentable but would be even better with a cut and polish. The vinyl top is sun baked. Things that need attention... Grill emblem, center hubcap emblem are missing. Also the l/h front fender skirt bracket is missing. You will not find a more original car than this. A true survivor. Car is relisted because of non payment. On Dec-02-15 at 08:36:58 PST, seller added the following information: A few things i forgot !! The L/H skirt is a different color because it was missing when i got the car. I bought a set on Ebay and rattlecan sprayed one of them yellow. (was green) The spare R/H will come with the car. There is a battery charger installed next to the battery (can be seen in one of the engine bay pics) I'm not sure if the Cruise Control works . Haven't tried it I can recommend a shipping company for overseas buyers and can arrange delivery to their depot (at buyers expense) I can store the car for 14 days after auction ends
