For sale is 1972 Ford Mustang Faastback that I'm selling for a friend. Her husband recently passed away and she wants to sell this car. The car mostly complete, as best as I can tell from going through the parts we could find. It has however been sitting in a field for 20+ years. The engine was removed and disassembled, then stored in a shed. It will require boring and a complete overhaul. The car will come with 2-351 blocks, 1 set of heads, 4 barrel intake, Holley carb, 1set of exhaust manifolds. The crank shaft will require rework to get it ready for a rebuild. All 8 pistons and rods are included but are frozen. The body has obvious rust through on the rear lower quarters and trunk lid. The floor pans appear to be intact, as best as I can tell, with no obvious rust through spots (front and rear). Can't find the instruments for the car as it was removed and only the instrument surround and back case were found. The auto trans is still in the car along with the torque converter. The hood has been modified with pins and the hinges were removed. This would be a good project or as a parts car. This will be a cash only sale with the purchaser responsible for removal of the car from the field, pack-up, and transport.
