Inside, outside, under , everywhere !! Ive yet to see anyone else on ebay put up detailed pics like ours. We dont have alot of fine print blah blah. Just the important stuff buyers are looking for. Very sought after & DESIRABLE 1987 Toyota X Cab 4x4 in nice shape. Could be an SR5 pkg, not exactly sure.... A SW Truck . If you choose to buy 1 of our AZ vehicles and spend less time repairing rust for weeks on end, and keep more of the original sheetmetal making your project worth more in the end and spending less money in the end. YEAH, much like the black truck in BTTF !! Brief description: There is really no rust on this AZ truck and the body is in great shape for its age. The interior too is in pretty nice shape. It could probably use a good cleaning and detail, but for a daily driver its not bad. Nice color too. Ive driven this car around the parking lot and its a little cold blooded. After it warms up some, Ive driven it down to the store and put gas in it and it actually runs better when on the throttle and rpms are up. Low rpms and taking off , the power feels down and I hear a pop once in a while thru the carb. Im going to check the timing this week, it could easily be the miss/ power issue. It was a daily driver until a few months ago it developed a miss. Starts fine when cold, not as easy when its warm. So the trucks going to need what I think are could be minor repairs but not sure exactly what it needs. It has new plugs and cap and rotor. Not sure about the wires. The harder starts when warm prob carb related, but not sure. This is not an EFI truck. This trucks has been in AZ for about the last 15 yrs if not longer.... ITS NOT A RESTORED TRUCK BY ANY MEANS, but its been kept up nicely with normal repairs and maintance over the yrs until just a few months ago. EXTERIOR: For a 25+ yr old truck, its still in pretty nice shape. ITS NOT RESTORED, but all Original and pretty cool just that way. Check out all the pics, please !! Original color combo you see now is the way it came from the factory. Older paint looks good, but you cant tell its an older paint job and been in the sun a few yrs. ...some chips etc too. Its been a work truck, just not a beat on trashed truck....its just not a show truck. A NICE RUST FREE EXAMPLE OF HOW THESE LOOKED WHEN NEW. DRIVETRAIN: it is an original factory 22R well proven Toyota motor matted to a 5 spd transmission. The 4x works well as does the PS PDB are great and working factory AC ! Youll see the period correct 15x8 Centerline style American Racing wheels on it are cool, with almost new Falken tires. I want to mention again, the motor has a "miss" which is worse at idle and tends to smooth out as the rpms are up and driving. Not sure Id say its okay as a daily until it gets fixed. It could be timing related, or could be head gasket related, I cant say for sure. But there is no water in the oil and it hasnt lost any water in the last few months. It could also have to do with a fuel diaphram down by the carb too. It did just get new plugs and wires for a tune up. We did in install a new alternator. Battery in it in okay, but sometimes it does crank slow but still starts pretty much all the time. INTERIOR: old, original showing its age, its because its an Az truck yrs here in the Az desert, the front bench seat is in okay shape. No tears in it and looks good in pics and not bad in person. Some of the old window tint is peeling. CD player and stereo are really NICE !!! Driver side window regulator is new. All the glass looks good. MIleage on the title says a higher #, my guess it was a typo when the last person switched it. But it could be fixed when the new owner swaps it into their name. Its over 200k but not sure if it really matters. SUSPENSION: best we can tell it is pretty much original with normal wear and tear repairs done over the yrs. PDB up front are nice. Almost looks like it has a lift with the bigger tires and wheels but for the most part, this is a very original, unmolested 4x4 which was owned by an older lady for the last 20+ yrs. The truck rides nice too with the newer Falken tires. The addition of some better shocks look to be a nice upgrade. I suggest to avoid this happening to you, put up a higher proxy bid before it ends so you can win the vehicle !! We rarely have to relist of put out 2nd chance offers. Our prices are usually much lower then most dreamers out there too trying to sell cars online. IF you choose to buy someone elses car we wish you the best, but if you dont see nice clear pics like ours, who really knows what you are getting unless you can check it out in person first. Also, if you buy a car thats been "restored", who knows what sort of surprises are hidden under new paint or thick undercoating.
