Vehicle Description What we have here is an 1978 Dodge Aspen with approximately 80,000 +/- miles. This car has Air-conditioning, Power Steering, Power Brakes and is in Very Nice original condition. The engine is a 318 cubic inch V-8 with an automatic transmission. The interior is also in very good shape. The car starts right up, air-conditioning works and appears to be in good running order. I believe this car to be very original and unmolested. I am not saying that this is an extremely collectible car but it is a low mileage, one owner, car from the age of big fluffy seats and simulated chrome, surely it’s worth adding to someone’s collection as a reasonable investment. This car will be in the original owners name and is clear. This auction will be cash (no trades) only at this time, so please don’t ask. Vehicle Condition I just recently obtained permission to sell this car and it is still in storage (not being driven). The only real noticeable defect is the trim around the vinyl top is showing it’s age. There have been covers on the dash and rear deck. The pictures show the car in a dusty state and I believe the paint may buff right out at the hands of a professional. I am listing this car with limited knowledge about it (it’s not mine) so I encourage you or a representative to make an appointment to look at the car in person. If you need specific pictures please let me know and I will do my best to get them to you. Terms of Sale A good faith deposit of $1,000.00 is due within 3 days of end of auction so I know you are serious. Please ask permission from your wife and any questions from me before you bid. Vehicle should be paid for in full and removed within 10 days of end of auction unless prior arrangements are made (before end of auction). This auction is a binding contract and is not for the right to inspect and decide, you win you own, if you want to inspect then please contact me and I will arrange a time before auction end. When I got on the ground to take the photos I saw that there was a small spot of rust behind every tire on the fenders (I added a picture of the worst one and a picture that represents the other three. I looked under the dash cover and noticed that the dash did indeed have a crack in it. I did also noticed that the left rear brake light was broken. The owner did not even know these areas were a problem. He again stated that this car was always stored in a garage with towels over most of the interior and was shocked, but wanted me to for sure note these findings.
