Automatic We at Midnite Motor Classics in Margate, Florida are proud to present AN OPPORTUNITY TO OWN this very nice 2005 Chrysler PT Dream Cruiser Convertible There were a few special variations on the PT Cruiser during its 10 year production run. We think this Series 4 Dream Cruiser is the best-looking one of them all. 2005 was the first year for the convertible, and Chrysler went all out with unique color-keyed features inside and out, plus a very potent turbocharged motor. The 2005 Dream Cruiser was unveiled at the 2004 Woodward Dream Cruise, one of the world's largest classic car shows that takes place near Detroit each year. With it's Deep Lava Red paint, a 220 hp motor and retro style, the Dream Cruise Convertible was an instant hit. You can read more about this Special Edition PT Cruiser by clicking here. This one is in very good condition, and it runs and drive great. Its loaded with factory features, plus a couple of practical performance upgrades. The paint shines all around, and there are no notable dents or dings. There are a couple of light scuffs and fine scratches, but nothing that detracts form the overall appearance of the car. The Deep Lava Red paint is really a fantastic color. Looking more like maroon in low light, it really shines in bright sunlight, giving the car a completely different look. The 17 inch, 15-spoke alloy wheels are just one of many features exclusive to the Dream Cruiser. The top is maroon in color. Its in very good condition with no holes or tears. The interior is in outstanding condition. There are no rips, holes, or tears in the leather seats. The perforated leather seats with the half-moon maroon accents are another unique feature. Both front seats are heated, and the driver's seat has a power height control. The rear seat is also very nice. This PT Dream Cruiser comes with a full slate of comfort and convenience features: power windows, locks and mirrors; remote entry, cold air conditioning; tilt wheel; Cruise control, and more. Please see the "features" chart near the top of the description. Safety features include dual air bags, traction control and ABS. The dash is painted in Deep Lava Red, and the "PT Cruiser" badge on the right side has a prismatic quality - more Dream Cruiser specials.... The Infinity Audio system with CD changer was specifically tuned to the interior of the car. Unique metallic-accented pedals are another distinctive option - as are the shift bezel and the chrome door-lock knobs Features also include a HomeLink gate / garage opener and a compass / temp display. The manual is with the car. The 2.4 liter turbo runs very well, rated from the factory at 220 hp - and it runs on regular grade gas. This one also has a high-performance wastegate and a high-performance MSD ignition. Power in this particular car is probably more like 240 hp, with no discernable effect on fuel mileage. We reserve the right to cancel bids from those with excessive or net negative feed back. Payment and Fees We will add a $249 dealer prep charge to the final bid price. This is to cover the cost of vehicle cleaning, phone calls, Fed-Exing of packages and other document handling costs. If a vehicle is not picked up within 10 days of the auction close, we reserve the right to charge a reasonable storage fee. You may pay the purchase price in cash, with a cashiers or certified check or wire transfer. We do not accept credit cards for full purchase price. If you are the winner, a $500 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction is sufficient to hold the car until the remainder can be sent or car is picked up (Paypal will be accepted for the $500 deposit only) . If these forms of payment are not acceptable, please do not bid. Final payment is expected within five (5) days thereafter. If you are a Florida resident, you will be required to pay applicable sales tax and registration fees. If you are not a Florida resident, you will be required to register the vehicle in your home state at your own cost, including registration fees, inspection fees and sales taxes applicable to your state.
