For sale is my 1982 XL185S. This is a classic, reliable, tried and true Honda enduro from 1980's. You can ride it off road or on road - it has all the light, blinkers, title, etc. Runs fine, and like a true Honda, start up easily every time, even in cold. Cosmetically it is pretty good - I would say 7 out of 10 to be honest. From a few feet away it looks like a 9. Here are the good/bad so you know what you are getting. Items to Note that are not perfect: -Indent in gas tank on left side. Hard to notice due to the shiny/reflections of the nice original paint, but it is there - looks like a knee indent rather than an impact ding. -Seat has a tear on left side - I had it covered with black tape which make it look just fine, but took the tape off so you can see exactly what you get. -Very tail end of muffler appears to have been shortened by prior owner. Still sounds just fine and looks ok, just it is about 2-3 inches shorter that I think it is supposed to be. -Left side sprocket cover (for front sprocket/chain) appears to have been modified. It is the original side cover, but appears that it was "shaved" back a little bit. -Missing the OEM mirrors (sorry, I never spent the time to get these for the bike) Items to Note that are nice: -Tank is OEM and looks nice. Inside is very nice too. -Starts, runs, and rides like a Honda. -Has all the blinkers (most of the time the rear ones are broken or missing) -Has key, title, and even ORIGINAL OWNERS MANUAL under the seat. -Brakes work fine. -Tires are fine. -Brand new battery (have not installed it yet, but plan to do so in a few days). The items above are the main points. I tried to be as honest as I can. Since this is a 33 year old bike, there are minor blemishes and imperfections that I'm sure you will find, but nothing that will get in the way of you riding, enjoying, and appreciation this classic enduro. I require payment with 48 hrs after the auction. You can pay a deposit via paypal, and the rest via paypal, or else cash upon pickup. Shipping is YOUR responsibility. I will gladly meet the shipper that you arrange, and help load it, and I can hold onto it for a few weeks after you pay for it, no problem. Ask any questions that you want, and good luck bidding. I have put a reasonable reserve on the bike, as it is a classic and you don't find many around like this. It is also for sale locally and might sell, so bid early.
