Vehicle Detail
1992 350, G92, Z28 Thanks for taking a look at my 1992 Black Z28, I have always loved the F-Body Camaros and have owned 6 over the years. One thing I have learned is that it is extremely had to find them without rust problems, primarily on the under carriage. I have seen cars that look great on top but had major rust problems on the underside. I spent a lot of time trying to find an original 1992 Z28 350 G92 optioned car, with factory 4 wheel disc brakes, dual catalytic converter and rear swaybar. I wanted a car that wasn’t molested, damaged or rusted out and had all original body panels. I found this z28 in Connecticut 2 years ago and bought it from the second owner with 60,000 miles on it. I like the 1992 z28’s as it was the last year for the F-Body style and the 350 was very rare as only 3038 were built. The body was completely stripped of paint and repainted a super deep original color black. All the jams were also painted along with all new weatherstripping. The original paint was fine but had the standard clear coat problems that all 90’s GM cars suffer from. Floor pans are in perfect shape with no rust. There is a small cracks in the speaker area of the dash, and I have never tried to charge the AC system. This Z28 drives fantastic, very solid and I would drive it anywhere. shifts nice and drives very smooth. I have a small collection of cars and have collected cars for the last 20 years. I have bought many cars on EBay over the years that looked and sounded good, but when I got them I was surprised by some obvious defects that were never disclosed. A few times cars come in looking better than I thought. I know this is the risk you take buying sight unseen over the internet. Unfortunately many sellers and dealers will just post tons of pictures without saying a word about the condition of the car. I believe to grow the hobby of collecting cars you need more than a lot of pictures. You need to describe the condition the best you can. I try to point out any obvious things that I would like to know about if I was buying a car sight unseen. I am sure I may miss something small but I welcome anyone to come and inspect my cars or have a 3rd party come and inspect them before you bid. If there is anything you would like a picture of just send me an email and I will take it for you. Please ask all questions before the auction ends. Thanks For looking.
