1951 CHEVY PICKUP 3100 VEHICLE DESCRIPTION This is a 1951 3100 truck body setting on a Chevy S-10 frame totally set up with correct kits to accommodate the 350 engine and 350 transmission. It has a 350 4 bolt main with loads of high performance parts such as forged pistons, 292 cam with a 511 lift, with over $1200.00 invested in the heads, with elderbrock manifold and 750 carburetor. It also has gear drive instead of chain. It also has a four core radiator. One wire chrome alternator. There are too many parts to list. Can answer questions concerning motor if you would like. The motor alone has over $6,000.00 invested in it. The 350 transmission has a shift kit and 3,000 stall converter with asbestos racing clutches. All other internal parts were replaced with brand new parts. The tall gear shift, transmission parts and linkage was $1,000.00. Motor and transmission have less than 100 miles on them. Power steering, power disk brakes in front and drum brakes in back. Special made heavy duty drive shaft. The truck has special mounting brackets for the bed which are not installed yet. As you can see in the pictures, the running boards and skirts are there, but not on. The grill is new and also have new bumpers. Front bumper is triple chrome plated. Rear bumper is just normal re-chrome. Truck is wired so all the lights work. Gauges are included, but not in dash. There is an extra door which is a single glass door. There are other new parts such as door handles, door rubbers and more. Would consider selling truck without motor and transmission. The truck would make a very strong and fast rat rod. It also could be a nice street rod with some body work and paint.
