Here is an unmolested 1972 Olds Cutlass convertible. Owned by lady from new, was only used as summer vehicle at vacation home.All numbers match and all panels are original to vehicle. When owner passed vehicle sat in heated garage for many years. House now sold and time to sell vehicle. New fuel tank was installed and carburetor rebuilt. Vehicle runs, drives and shifts perfectly. Top is brand new along with pump,lines and lift pistons. Interior is very good with no cracks in dash and no rips in all seating surfaces. Vehicle has original manuals and matching hard to find protecto plate. Original 350 4 barrel and transmission that run and shift properlyFrame and floors are rock solid. Can drive the way it is or repaint and have a great vehicle for well below the prices these vehicles are bringing on this and other sites. Odometer shows 103,000 miles believed to be original. I am helping the family sell the vehicle as they are elderly. I will try to answer all questions and can provide more pictures. It is becoming harder to find original cars at an affordable price. Very low reserve price compared to the prices these vehicles are bringing on this and all sites. This vehicle shows well but does have small dings and signs of wear over the years. It is not a show car but because of the originality It is worth trying to repair and keep the original panels in tact. The vehicle can easily be driven in current condition, or spend a little to have the minor rust repaired and enjoy on cruise nights, down the road do a complete repaint and have a very nice car for well under what these cars are bringing. All of the dash and courtesy lights work, none of the wiring has ever been cut or cobbed, even the key buzzer and seat belt warning buzzer works. Took the vehicle out yesterday and vehicle runs and shifts great and is very tight. Everyone keeps asking for a buy it now price, but the family feels they set a low reserve.
