The word "Fury" denotes a type of "anger," inspired by the Furies, mythological creatures in Ancient Greek and Ancient Roman mythology. The 1965 Plymouth Fury III had 5 different engine types, this one being the 5.2 liter, 5211 cc, 318 cubic inch motor with 230 horsepower is a 3 speed automatic. It has comes with what was a new style grill and double stacked headlights from that year. In March of 2013, the car's engine was pulled, "diagnosed and repaired inc. checked all assy's, re-installed engine with all listed parts, test drove, leak checked and tuned". A picture of the repair work and parts with prices is posted in the photos section. The car runs solid, with a big sound from the exhaust that would even blow Marilyn Monroe's dress up. However, the transmission needs to warm up for a few minutes first. It has been sitting and may need a transmission fluid flush. There is a *NEW throttle cable installed. The front passenger tire may have a leak, as it has been sitting for some time and the tire has flattened out. Just put air back in the tire and it seems to holding fine so far. No radio installed. There is some rust and rips in the seats as expected. The seals on the inside of the door cavities.
