Very clean straight body, no rust. The only thing missing from this car is the engine, radiator, carpet, radio and original rims. It is sitting on 14" rubber at this time. All the brackets, transmission, Torque converter, drive shaft etc are there. The engine was lovingly removed by the previous owner. His plan was a big block but life got in the way. Previous owner stated that the 200-r4 transmission had a recent rebuild, it appears very clean but not spotless looks like it has been in the car and run. Not just a rattle can rebuild. Nothing has been cut or hacked in any way on this clean 87 ss. It has the bench seat with column shift. This is a full frame rear wheel drive. I bought it as a project but I have several other projects going on and with winter coming I really don't want this one to sit outside (neither does the little lady). The only bad I can say about this one is the t-tops. If you know GM t-top cars from this era you know they leak. I think they leak even in the showroom. As a result of them leaking and the carpet getting wet the floor pan is rusted. The frame and all underneath is solid as is the body. I have had a professional body man look it over and he also agreed with what I see. There is no filler any where that we could find. Body is excellent, with no rust. There is a very small dent in the passenger front wheel fender lip, see pictures. Mileage is unknowen. Car fax is clean, shows no accidents or issues. It also showed some where around 52,000 back in the early 90's I think it was. Odometer shows 47,xxx something now so Not sure why. I bought this car and ran the car fax at that time. I am typing from memory so I might be off a bit. Sucks getting old. All aspects of this car appear to be a low mileage car. It also has spent most if not all of it's life in the north. So for it to have no rust also helps me to believe It is a low mileage not driven year round. If there are any specific pictures you would like to see contact me and I will get them to you.
