Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is a clean, low mile Rubi with many aftermarket upgrades. Modifications include, Skyjacker lift, Warn 9.5ti winch, upgraded bumpers and rear tire carrier, led interior lights, security alarm with motion detection, Bestop rocker panels with built in side steps, premium wet okole custom seat covers front and rear, windshield frame mounted KC lights,LT305/70R16 Dick Cepek FCII radials with less than 10k on them, husky floor mats, Poweraid throttle body spacer, Airaid cold air intake, quick disconnect sway bar end links (a little noisy over bumps). Jeep will come with both factory hard and soft tops and original Rubicon rock rails. I personally maintained the Jeep using synthetic oil along with a larger capacity Ford FL1A filter. Wrangler is also equipped with drilled and slotted brake rotors that are aged but effective. Both body and frame are solid with only some surface rust as shown in the pictures. Only known mechanical concerns: parking brake does not hold very well and could use adjustment. Although the Rubicon is known for it's exceptional off road capability, I never had encountered a need to lock the differentials as the factory tru trac did a great job within itself. With that said, I tested the lockers just prior to listing for sale and noticed the front diff lamp remains blinking, no concerns with the rear. I will diagnose and provide an update. Other than those details, there are no issues to speak of. The Jeep runs, handles, and brakes in a very predictable, confident manner. I am rather sad to list it. We had just recently added a JK Rubicon into the family for the wife so something had to give. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have and I thank you for your interest. On Nov-09-15 at 09:57:58 PST, seller added the following information: I have received a question regarding seat and hard top condition. Please see note along with front locker update: Hello, thanks for your interest. The hard top and seats are in excellent condition. My research on the front diff indicates it is most likely an air connection, lack of exercise, or sometimes the diff is indeed locked despite the light blinking. There are many posts dedicated to this topic. I performed a visual inspection and did not see anything out of place. Considering my very infrequent use of lockers, it appears likely that it just needs to be exercised and used.
