Vehicle Detail

Here we have '64 356C Coupe with an older restoration. This car has been owned by one gentleman, a Porsche enthusiast, for the last +/-15 years. The car is in great running condition, drives straight and true. Restoration is about 8-9 years old. When restored new brake lines and master cylinder were installed, along with new front hubs, bearings, rotors, calipers, shocks, wiring, interior and fuel tank/sender. The car runs and drives extremely well and sits like it should. I just drove the C on a fall foliage trip for 170 miles with no issues, cruising at times up to 75-85 MPH. THE GOOD. The exterior and undercarriage are in good solid condition, with minor corrosion coming through the paint in a couple places. Some pitting on the chrome parts. Paint presents very well (few minor paint chips) and body is beautifully straight, see photos. New FIRESTONE 560 165r/15 tires (stock size), wheels are painted black (not that great paint), original chrome hubcaps are included. New 6V Optima battery. Interior was also restored. Dash and dash cover excellent. Seats are great, seat chrome trim needs polish or rechrome. Original headliner shows slight cracking as shown in photos. Most glass appears to be original with new weatherstripping installed at restoration. Other interior bits, door cards, floor rubber, rear seats all in good condition. Original gauges, and steering wheel! Mechanically very sound and engine runs strong, with rebuilt Weber carbs, new belt, coil, distributor cap, wires, plugs, air filters, oil filter, and fluids. Emergency brake works great. Windshield washer system not installed. Car is always stored in climate controlled garage. THE BAD. Over the past couple months the tachometer, brake lights, and oil temp gauge have stopped working. Chrome has pitting. One headlight trim ring shows light damage. The drivers vent window hinge is broken, but only on the glass side, not the frame side. Passenger front rim has pothole damage (easy replacement to OEM). Speedo needle a little jumpy sometimes, but odometer works just fine. Clock not working but original. Key is also stuck in the ignition. I believe in full disclosure and have listed everything of knowledge good and bad to the best of my abilities. This is a solid vehicle coming from well maintained individual. Clear title is in hand. I will work with buyer for shipping arrangements, US buyers only. $500 deposit via PAYPAL. Full payment within 7 days. Car and/or title will not be released until funds have cleared. Car is sold as-is, where-is. Please email me with any questions. Thanks Jim.
