In that time it has never had a single problem. I have averaged 38mpg on more than one road trip. 30mpg in the city. This is my second CDI and I will be getting another one very soon. It is a true 2 owner vehicle with 0 accidents. I have 3 keys/fobs and the owners manual.Many people have bad things to say about Mercedes and the cost of repairs/maintenance. The CDIs are by far the most dependable cars Mercedes has built in the last 15 years, I have seen many with over 200,000 miles without any major repairs other than normal wear parts and maintenance. There are many stories of them on the internet with over 500,000 miles with the original engine/transmission. The biggest issue with the cost of Mercedes repairs is that people are going to the dealer and being robbed. The dealer charges outrageous prices and tries constantly to sell repairs that are not needed. I own a shop where I specialize in European imports and although I'm not a big fan of gasoline powered Mercedes or the Bluetec engines (because of dependability issues/cost of repairs) I believe the CDI engine is bullet proof (as well as the Mercedes 5 speed transmisson this car has that was replaced the next year with a less dependable 7 speed) and if maintained properly will last another 200,000 miles and do it getting over 35 mpg and you get 379 ft lb of torque as well which is maddening in this car. 0-60mph time is 6.6 seconds, that is faster than 95% of the cars on the road. This diesel develops tons of torque at low rpm giving the car a strong, smooth feel of acceleration. Power options include, power seats, mirrors, power windows, bluetooth, navigation, sunroof, cruise control and other typical Mercedes Benz E-Class options like dual climate control, automatic headlights, automatic windshield wipers, auto-dimming mirrors. The seats, mirrors, and steering column all respond to memory settings. Impressive, even down to the simple and elegant interior lighting and real hardwood interior (more than most tables these days...). I can have heated seats installed for $150 each if you'd like to have them on this car. It comes with a free 30 day warranty that covers 50% of parts and labor required to fix internal damage to the engine and transmission. I will do anything I can to help you with shipping as long as you pay for it and arrange it. I am also willing to pick you up from KCI airport so you can drive this beauty home! I will provide 60 day temporary tag. I am an automotive technician and I just did an 80 point inspection on this Mercedes, the few things it needed were done and it is in 100% mechanical condition.
