Beautiful Jaguar XK120 Roadster replica by British Motor Cars Ltd. Kit was purchased in 1987 and built by a gentleman in Northern California who passed away before registering and driving the car. The car was purchased from his estate and I got it running, driving, titled and registered. It has a clear title in my name with a certificate of non operation. It is registered as a 1952 Jaguar and passed the official California Smog-Brake-Lamp inspection without any difficulty.Car has been stored in a garage since it was built, and last year it was stored in my driveway under a car cover.The car has 603 miles on it since it was built. It has a 1984 Ford V-6 3.8 liter engine. It has good compression, no smoke, and is a smooth quiet running engine. There are no leaks under the car of any kind. It has a 3-speed automatic transmission that is also very smooth. The transmission cooler is mounted under the car, and it has a manually controlled electric fan in front of the radiator for cooling. It is geared low and is a nice around town car or slow freeway cruiser. Taller tires or higher gearing would make it go faster. The gel coat is in great shape. It has a custom interior, new tires, rear brakes, shocks, fan, serpentine belt, battery, wiring, etc. etc. The convertible top has some stains and a small tear on the front middle. In my opinion this car looks stunning without the top and should be driven that way. The driver's seat also has some small tears along the back side, which are only noticeable when you lift up the seat.All of the lights, horn, turn signals, etc. work. Even the radio and cassette player work. So does the heater and all of the gauges!It comes with a brand new, top of the line, car cover with a lifetime warranty.All of the paperwork including the official BMC binder, sales brochure, Assembly Manual, title, registration, sales receipts and other pertinent information are included. I have owned many beautiful classic cars, but this one seems to turn more heads and get more honks and thumbs up than any of the others.
