Up for auction is this 2006 Mini Cooper Hatchback. This has been my wife's car for the past six years. We acquired it in August 2009 with 47,500 miles on it, and have been driving it for six years with no problems at all. We're selling this car because we just bought her a new one. It is in excellent condition and has been regularly maintained and very well cared for. The paint is all original, and the car has never been in an accident. No dents or dings, but there is a small crack in the rear bumper (see picture below) Exterior features include 16" alloy wheels, Xenon Headlamps and black mirror caps and roof. This MINI has the $1400 Premium Package, which includes the dual-pane Panoramic Roof Both sun shades are intact. The interior is also in fantastic shape - no rips or tears in the seats, no burn marks, no odors of any kind. A set of heavy-duty rubber mats is included. The cargo area is clean and versatile. You can fold down either or both of the rear seats if you need extra storage space. There is a privacy shade that covers the cargo area. This Mini comes with a long list of comfort and convenience features. Highlights include power windows, locks and mirrors, remote entry, auto climate control, tilt wheel and cruise control. The multifunction steering wheel has controls for the audio system and on-board computer. The CVT automatic transmission also has a sequential manual shift mode. The audio system has AM/FM radio (with satellite prep), a CD player, and there is an iPod connector in the climate controlled glove box. The display in the tach shows info from the on-board computer and outside temp. The books, both keys, and the original window sticker are with the car. The 1.6 liter motor runs fantastic. This car is quick and responsive, and just plain fun to drive. This MINI Cooper has been regularly maintained. Recent work includes rear brakes, battery and a wheel aligment. The tires are also in excellent shape. Current mileage is at 79,005. We've put about 31,000 miles on this car and the last 6 years, and it has performed flawlessly for us.
