1968 Ford Mustang Fastback J Code Original 302 GT 3 Speed Car Very Desirable Highland Green 302 GT engine Original TransmissionSame Color as the Steve McQueen Bullitt Car Link to pictures: http://s1228.photobucket.com/user/mtdubvee/library/1968%20Mustang%20J%20Code%20Highland Your are bidding on a very fine example of a 1968 Mustang Fastback J Code 390 GT 3 Speed. Original Highland green, with black interior. This car completed correctly is a 60-70k car all day long and these 68 J code GT’s increase in value and popularity every year. They are great investments and beautiful cars. This car is very complete and the interior is complete and in amazing shape. yOU WONT SPEND THOUSANDS OF EXTRA DOLLARS HUNTING SMALL PARTS BECAUSE THIS CAR IS MOSTLY COMPLETE AND ALL ORIGINAL! This car was one of the most beautiful 68 fastbacks built. Highland green with black interior. Perfect color combination. This car is more than likely a 1 of 1 combination. It was nicely optioned from the factory and was surely one of the nicest mustangs on the road back in the day. This car is begging to be put back on the road by someone who will bring it back to its original glory and beauty. Drivetrain: The car comes with Assumed to be original 302 engine that needs rebuilt Intake C8ZE-9425-A 302 Heads Comes with the original transmission RAT-U 3 speed Original Driveshaft also included Original Radiator C8ZE Ford 9 Inch Rearend Body: The body is overall very nice. The car spent all of its life in NC. The rocker panels and trunk and the majority of the floor is very solid. The frame rails are nice and solid except the passenger side front rail. The rear frame rails and floor and rear torque boxes are in great shape. The front left floorboard is rust and the floor support coming off the frame rails needs replaced. The torque boxes also need attention. Very nice car overall. Nice solid rocker panels, no rust in the window channels or upper trunk channels. Might be some other small places. Has rust in the typical mustang areas. Outer Quarters, lower doors. But all very fixable.Trunk lid is rusty but I can throw in a brand new one if the Buy It now is used. Interior: Interior is in remarkable condition. The car has both front and rear original seats. The fold down seat is all there as well as the trap door. The larger rear interior panels are there as well as the upper sail panels. All of the interior is basically there and in good shape. This is a great car and a highly desirable J code with a great color combination. I encourage any interested parties to come and inspect the car. The VIN is stamped on the LH fender apron, and the Dash dag VIN is also present. Original Gauges are intact with the electric clock. Glass: The front windshield and Driver door glass are there. Rear window and passenger window were both broken at some point.
