1970 Chevelle SS 396 4-Speed! Up for a true 5 day WORLDWIDE NO RESERVE auction is this ultra rare 1970 SS 396 Chevelle. This car has been sitting in a heated garage for about the last 10 years and has less than 100 miles since sitting. The engine is the original 396 CTX block that the car was born with! The car runs and drives good but has some typical issues with a car that has been sitting. The paint and body look great! Body is very nice and everything lines up very well. The car has had a high quality repaint about 15 years but looks great and still has great shine! All chrome looks new and all trim is in very good shape as well. Overall the exterior looks great and is in driver to above driver quality! The interior is also in excellent shape. The seats, dash, headliner etc are free of any rips, tears, or cracks. The car has working power windows and power door locks (VERY RARE OPTIONS) but the power seat is not working! The underside looks very clean and very solid! Wheels look good but the tires are pretty worn. Vinyl top is in excellent condition with no bubbles. This car also has some other very rare options such as A/C (missing compressor) functional cowl induction hood, power trunk release, tilt wheel, fiber optic turn signals, and more. We do NOT have a build sheet but i have not taken this car apart to look for it so it may or may not still be in the car! The car was appraised for $56,000 just before it was parked in the garage.
