Today I have a 2000 BMW 740il for sale. It is a 3 owner vehicle with a clean autocheck and is in fair condition! It wouldn't take too much to make this a nice car. The BMW runs and drives great. It has an extremely smooth ride and lots of power with the handling to go along with. There aren't any check engine lights and have not been since I've had it. I have an clean Autocheck I can provide and will include in the purchase. ** I am going to list any imperfection I can see so there is not any surprises upon pickup** Interior: Average - Good Condition **See Picture for up close details**The windows, mirrors, door locks, all work. The seats are in good shape - the driver seat has some normal wear on it. All heated seats and heated steering wheel work. None of the pixels are bad in the instrument cluster. The compartments on the back of the front seats do not stay in closed position. The glove box latch is broken. I just did this and i'm pretty sure the owners manual is in there. The navigation radio screen stays white when turned on. It will need an aftermarket stereo put in or a new navigation unit. This is a pretty common problem with the early NAV units. Exterior: Fair -Average condition - Please see pics Overall it is a great looking car except for a few spots. I will go over every spot which is also detailed in the pictures. All of the paint shines shows well. The front bumper has a crack in it below the kidney grill. the kidney grille is a little loose but stays on without any problem. The driver side front corner of the has a mark on it and the passenger side front bumper bottom has a crack in it. There is a paint chip above the passenger side headlight. The driver side Side Marker on the fender is cracked. The driver side rear door has a spot of rust on it. The passenger rear door has rust along the entire bottom. The rear bumper has a mark on the passenger side and the black trim in the center is cracked. All of the wheels are in pretty nice shape with great tires on them. Mechanically: The BMW runs and drives great. Engine is very powerful and the transmission shifts perfect. The suspension is tight without any clunks. I checked all balljoints, tie rods and all are good. There aren't any check engine lights on. The check brake linings light is on in the dash. the brakes are good and most likely the wear sensor was not installed. The sunshades all work along with all power options on the car. It does not smoke or anything of the sort. the oil will be changed with mobil 1 0w40 before the auction is over. I have described the BMW 740il as best I can. Other than the visual imperfections the 740 is a very nice car. I have more pictures so feel free to ask for anything specific. I can also check anything in particular on the car for you upon request. There is a $99 Administrative fee added to each auction. Please keep in ind I am not a licensed mechanic. You are more than welcome to come and look at the Vehicle before you bid or before the auction ends. I will not ship the vehicle. The Vehicle is sold "as is". I can provide a 90 day 4,500 mile drivetrain warranty for $150 if the vehicle sells for more than $2,000.
