For sale a 1984 (ebay would not take vin so had to list as a 1980) European 500se. This is shorter and lighter than the American 500sel . It has the higher horsepower European engine. The car has been repainted and I have a ton of bills from the original owner on. It is quick and drives well. The tires are summer high performance so if you are using in fall or winter will need tires. The car runs and drives but it is 30+ years old. It has some rust spots that I have taken pictures of. I am not trying to hide anything. I bought the car for a future project but am selling my stable of Mercedes to pay for a AMG 500 sec solid lifter, widebody, stickshift project. I will have a 500sel euro AMG and a 560SEC AMG for sale soon see last 2 pictures. This w126 se is solid and I believe in it enough that I can deliver within 250 miles (you pay gas both ways). The car is Euro and you certainly can feel a kick off the line compared to a USA 500sel or even a 560sel. Recent bill from 3/15 total over $1100 and include new distributor cap, rotor wires etc. I have alot of reciepts from the previous owners. Ebay does not take the VIN it is WDB1260361A029709. Power steering, brakes, power windows (added option rare on Euros) In the pictures the front doors have the golden AMG burl wood pieces. THESE ARE FOR THE WHITE CAR THEY WILL NOT COME WITH THIS CAR. I have refinished Zebrano door wood and will be installed on car, I have them in storage and have not to get them yet but will be installed this week. I have many many more pictures just ask.
