Been a great FUN little car for us but we just don't drive it any more and it's just sitting outside in the weather. It's been sitting more and more. Starts right up but must warn up before driving. Brake light just went on A few days ago. Checked brake fluid level and looks OK. Brakes are working. Bought new tires a few years ago but we don't drive the car so they in new condition. New fuel pump, filter and carburetor. We thought it was a fuel problem but now we are told by an AMC certified mechanic it’s an ignition control module. Waiting for new ignition control module to come in a few days. I’ll install it. It would run great for 20min or so then die. After waiting 15-20min. it would start up like nothing was wrong. He said the old ICM heats up kills the car and then cools down after waiting. Windshield has a crack, missing some trim and some rust in areas. Had vinyl top but it was in bad shape so we just took it off. Hopefully the pics speak for it's self. Like I said it's been fun. Get lots of attention driving around town. ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE ASK!!
