Ive yet to see anyone else on ebay put up detailed pics like ours. We dont have alot of fine print blah blah. Just the important stuff buyers are looking for. Very sought after & DESIRABLE 1973 FORD F100 , in nice driver quality shape. A SW Truck w/ a DSO of UT which has minimal rust seeing as it has spent most of its life in Tucson . If you choose to buy 1 of our AZ vehicles and spend less time repairing rust for weeks on end, and keep more of the original sheetmetal making your project worth more in the end and spending less money in the end. Brief description: of course this truck is NOT RESTORED to factory condition, but has been mostly just a driver and weekend Off Roadeer for the previous owners. In the last yr is has sat more then its been driven so we recently drained the tank, did a little carb work and it roared back to life. Rims / Tires are almost new but sat for a yr or so..Motor runs well, and 4 spd gear box works nicely too. Clutch pedel feels worn after 30+ yrs. Az sun and the sunroof glass has been missing for about 6m (luckily we dont get much rain and it was covered for the most part) the interior did get some more then normal wear and tear. HEY, at least prett much every part you need to restore a truck like this if you want IS AVAILABLE pretty much everywhere and easy to find. AND parts for these trucks arent to expensive either. So restore and care for it like a long lost friend, OR keep Wheeling it off road like it was built for and not worry about anything but keeping the wheels on the ground ! Even though it is a factory High Rider, it almost looks like it is Lifted maybe even an inch or 2 more, cant say for sure. Its a driver, hop in and fire it up and take it anywhere around in town our out of town. This trucks has been in AZ for about the last 10 yrs if not longer.... ITS NOT A RESTORED TRUCK BY ANY MEANS !!!! EXTERIOR: For a 40+ yr old truck, its still in pretty nice shape. ITS NOT RESTORED, but all Original and pretty cool just that way. Check out all the pics, please !! Original color was RED w/ white cab, and its had at least 1 repaint over the yrs. Windshield is cracked, but rest of the glass looks fine. All the lights and blinkers and wipers do work ! I did notice that there seems to be a seam or small around around the edge of the cab of all places showing a rust line coming thru the paint. Not sure if its from a seamed area or what its about. When you look at the pics Ill point it out in one of the pics so you can see better. But for the most part this would be considered a very rust free or Low rust AZ vehicle. Missing some misc trim pieces I think that came on the XLT pkg and it has some bumps and dents in the body, still not bad for an old truck. I found rust on the floors, which I think came from the inside out due to the rubber floormats. A little rust starting on the bed corners too and lower part of one of the fenders. Its so minimal its hard to see in the pics, but we like to be honest in our ads and not try to sugar coat anything. I still think our un restored truck is probably better then most bondo kings out there for sale. rear bumper tweaked.. does have wiring for a towing. The paint on there may be able to be buffed and saved. DRIVETRAIN: it is an original factory 360 FE Motors factory V8 connected to a 4 speed transmission on the floor. According to the tag the gears are 4:11. Motor does run well and starts great all the time when its warm. When its really cold out you just have to pump the gas a few times and it starts fine. Its an old truck with a factory 2v carb. Mostly all stock and original too under the hood. Motor runs well and Id have no hesitation to hop in and drive across town or to the next town if I had to. Tires and Rims are basically new and hardly have any miles on them. They are 33x12.50s MTs Some performance mods included are MSD 6A box, coil and wires which really help with the trucks perfmance and mpg Rear posi works and so does the 4x4 when I manually lock in the hubs. Clutch and shifter feel okay, clutch pedel does feel very worn. INTERIOR: old, original showing its age, its because its an Az truck yrs here in the Az desert, the front bench seat is in okay shape. No tears in it and looks like the paint on the interior may be stock and original..Ranger XLT ... Dashlights work ! The rubber and weather stripping is all but gone and needs to be replaced soon. Aftermarket sunroof was installed yrs ago and about 2m ago the plastic or glass cover flew off so the interiors been exposed to the Az elements. Luckily we dont get alot of rain here, but it was covered when parked. Door panels are missing, and plastic lenses to the gauges are bad. Windows roll up and down but slow and rough, so they probably need rollers etc soon. SUSPENSION: best we can tell it is a factory HIGH RIDER OPTION FROM THE FACTORY (AKA HIGH BOY) with Rancho Front Springs and Rancho SHOCKS ALL AROUND. Rides actually pretty nice for how tall this truck is. Theres some evidence of PS fluid leaks etc, but nothing super bad mostly residual. Rest of the suspension looks pretty stock to me, but even back then these came from the factory pretty well prepped. PS feels good As do the PDB up front. Check out ALL the pics below -----> If other auctions are not showing areas under their trucks, who really knows what sort of shape its in. Dont find out the hard and $$ way.
