Vehicle Detail

Rare 1st Year Dodge Charger 318 Polysphere (Semi-Hemi) V8 Automatic This year of Charger is the one you want. It has all of the expensive high class goodies that Dodge quit putting on to save money in later years such as the metal grille, electroluminescent dash lights, full length console, four bucket seats, and so on. I've driven this car over 1,000 miles over the last few years but lost oil pressure a few weeks ago so I parked her. She starts right up, sounds perfectly normal (no knocking) and oil comes out of the port at the top rear of the block but I think either there's an oil passage blockage in the block or the oil pump is starting to go out. I literally listed the car for sale and three days later lost the oil pressure. So I'm reducing the price even further for a quick sale. Why buy someone else's car that may not be exactly what you want when you can buy one that you can build however you like. These Chargers also came with the big block 383, 440 or Hemi so those engines will drop right in. WHAT IT HAS New brakes, all gone through (new master cyl, wheel cyls, drums turned, hardware, shoes, brake hoses, etc.) Recent alignment with newer tires (2014 fronts, 2009 rears) New turn signal switch so all turn signals work (these are usually problems on these cars) New chrome turn signal lever New exhaust w/glasspack Pertronix II Electronic Ignition hidden under the distributor cap Pertronix Flamethrower II Coil All exterior lights function correctly Underdash temp & oil pressure gauges New Hi-Torque mini-starter Good transmission, doesn't leak, shifts good Keystone Klassic Chrome Wheels Carburetor rebuilt New spark plugs, plug wires, battery, distributor cap, rotor New air filter Charging system works, new alternator diode and voltage regulator New radiator hoses, thermostat & cap New fuel tank hoses (these are usually shot on 66-67 B-Bodies) Speedometer/odometer works Interior panels & dash pad painted Valve lash adjusted (solid lifters) with new valve cover gaskets New Trunk Medallion New rear window gasket. PLUS rear window channel has been cleaned and epoxy primered with all new clips and screws. Chrysler Factory Build Card with Decoding - shows all options, etc. Broken wiring connections repaired with solder & heat shrink tube, not butt connectors. Itemized list of parts that have gone on the car under my ownership including when bought, where bought, at how many miles and how much. COULD USE Paint & Body Upholstery New Carpet Radio & antenna missing Rotating headlight motors rebuilt (Headlight Motor Man) Dash cluster rebuild (Fuel, Temp, Oil, Tach, Electroluminescent) Power Pack to power dash lights is missing (these are now reproduced) Driver's door glass installed. Have glass, need glass track and vertical chrome channel. Driver's door panel is missing Pittman & Idler Arm starting to feel a little loose, need replaced w/ball joints Oil Pump going out New windshield (currently cracked) Paint the dash frame (when the windshield is out) Seat belts restored Bumpers re-chromed One exhaust manifold stud is broken, driver's rear lower Mostly cosmetics Additional pictures here: https://picasaweb.google.com/106229069349006019984/White66Charger?authkey=Gv1sRgCO_83dj_ot6FaQ# Thanks for viewing this quality dry Eastern Washington 1966 Charger! LED bulbs (BA9 base) where incandescent bulbs used to be for the turn signals, high beams and headlights not closed indicators in the dash. The wiring connectors are labeled for the wires behind the dash cluster. On Sep-29-15 at 22:13:33 PDT, seller added the following information: Also... one of the two backup lights in the rear bumper does not light up. The other one does.
