You are bidding on a beautiful Super solid ALL STEEL FORD BODY , frame off, restored 1931 Ford Model A Deluxe Coupe with Rumble seat. She’s been sitting in a barn for the last 15 years and she still looks great, starts right up and drives! This Model A was restored in the 80’s and was driven until stored in the 90’s. This Deluxe model has the cowl lights, rumble seat, luggage rack, dual tail lights, steel running boards and spare tire. The engine purrs nicely, doesn’t smoke and has plenty of power. She is in great condition for being 85! Just a great example of a Model A Deluxe Coupe! She has been stored and babied in a heated garage since the 90’s, You could drive this one home! It had a frame off restoration done 30 years ago and over $40k invested. It doesn’t appear to ever been wrecked, had panels replaced or rusted! It’s super straight with no major dings or dents. The Two-Tone paint is nice and shiny but its an older restoration and there are some small flaws in the paint although the blue is deep and bright. The condition of the chrome and brite work is very nice to excellent but will need some polishing. The glass is in very good condition. No cracks or sanding marks. Front window does operate. The fabric roof top is thought to be original and in good condition. The Interior is a newer Lebaron Bonney interior, which is in beautiful shape from the headliner to the seats. The fabric is soft and comfy with little to no wear evident. No holes, rips or tears either. The steering wheel is fair condition but there is a very nice steering wheel that comes with the car plus some other new and used parts (see picture). All of the windows, doors, and hood operate. The Drivetrain is original except for the engine. The current owner said the previous the owner replaced it with another ’31 and rebuilt it. The motor starts right up and purrs nicely. All the steering wheel controls work aiding in the starting and running of the motor. The motor has plenty of power, doesn’t smoke, make any noises and really doesn’t leak. She drives beautifully, shifts great and has great brakes! The Undercarriage is in super clean condition. The floor pans and frame are original and in GREAT condition. Other info: The car looks great but has been sitting for 15+ years with a restoration done 15 years prior and it does need a detailing! There are some minor scratches and chips in the paint, which is 30 years old but very stable. This Model A is in pretty much original condition except it does not have the original engine and the interior has been updated. The owner started working on it and getting it ready to put back on the road several years ago but his health has prevented that. There are items that were not completed. Front and rear lighting is not connected, wiring and ends are there along with new chrome wiring looms. Shocks were removed but new ones never ordered. Rumble seat lock needs to be installed, which is part of the parts lot pictured, no key for the lock though. Car comes with one set of factory keys and clear Ohio title I have many more pics!
