Vehicle Detail
AHB POLICE PACKAGE- Certified Speedo. 89000 original miles Originally owned by the City Of Passiac, NJ. I purchased this car from a friend that was moving. He purchased the car in 2006 at auction in new jersey. It was used in the 2005 film "RENT" before that. The fender tag clearly reads AHB which means it was built for police use. In about 2007 this car entered and won a local pimp my ride contest and received the Original Porsche Yellow paint job, as well as all new steering and suspension components in the front end, New leaf springs, Ball joints, and anything else it needed for a ny state inspection. It was also equipped with a killer stereo. It sat in storage from 2008-2013, at which point, I had purchased the vehicle. Since I have owned it, I have replaced both rear wheel cylinders, front calipers, Brake pads and rotors all the way around. I installed an intake manifold from a 360 engine, so that i could put an edelbrock 4 barrel on it. (i still have the 2 bbl intake and carbeurator, included in sale) Replaced both valve cover gaskets. Other than the brake work, I havent had many issues with the car, other than the issues mentioned as defects. I did alot of interior work over the winter, removing the carpet and replacing it with new, I also removed the door panels and re-wrapped them in navy blue ostrich leather. Runs and drives good. I suspect the defective temp gauge is related to my "amendments" that were made to the working lean burn system. Like anything this old, it take a little while to warm up, but it runs great. No problem maintaining cruising speed, or passing. I have taken what I feel to be very detailed photos, showing how clean the frame and underbody are. I also clearly documented both areas of the exterior body that are showing signs of rot. Both of which are in my opinion, very much repairable.
