This 1985 Mercedes 380 SL is a rare find. Original Florida owner had it for one year, sold it to an elderly Florida couple who drove it until last year. It was purchased from the widow. The car is completely rust free, in near perfect condition.Leather interior is flawless. Both tops are in perfect condition. Engine is tight and sound. Brakes are good, transmission solid. Just passed NY state inspection with flying colors. Minor issues: blower motor and some dash electric (radio) need attention, hood has some faded paint (see pics), odometer recently stopped working- needs a new gear. I bought this to do a complete show restoration, am forced to sell to make room for other projects. The car is valued at ~15-30K, depending on details of restoration. Fun, sporty daily driver in mint condition.
