Here is a real nice 97 Ford Ranger 2.3 Automatic. I had for almost two years. I bought from a chemical company that just used it around the large company. It had a lot of surface rust on the frame and wheels. I replaced the original 14 inch wheels with 15 inch wheels and 225/70/15 tires. Sanded and painted frame. I also replaced the u-joints and balance the drive-line. Also replaced front rotors, This truck has very low miles only 41992. I only got it with 31625. bearings, calipers and pads and front coil springs, and shocks all around. Rear brakes and drums almost new. Then I replaced spark plugs, clean throttle body with new gasket. Replaced idle air control valve, platinum spark plugs, valve cover gasket and heater control valve. Replace fuel pump and fuel filter. No oil leaks, no overheating. This truck has been very dependable. I bought it for my daughter because its an automatic, but she bought a new car. I put 10K miles and it's been, and I would not hesitate to take it across the country. It has nice cold AC. It just passed second smog with flying colors and its register until June 2016. This will make a real nice for a starter driver or work truck. Hate to sell it but already have two more trucks. thanks for looking! On Sep-19-15 at 17:44:23 PDT, seller added the following information: I should have mention that sometimes the check engine light has comes on and then it goes away. The code is for the evap system 1443. I replace the fuel tank fill neck about a week ago when it passed smog, Yesterday i replaced the emission evap solenoid at the advise of a smog technician. He said if the light comes back it will need the plastic canister. This is not a drive ability issue, it's a smog issue. The light is not on now, but I want to be up front that it may come on again. If You want to retract your bid or change your mind I understand. You don't have to buy it. Truck is over 15 years and its sold as is. thank you
