Vehicle Detail
I am selling a2004 Nissan Xterra XE in good condition. I am the second owner. I purchased this vehicle used from Cerritos Nissan in 2006. It was previously a leased vehicle. It has been well taken care of and every single service and oil change for this vehicle has been done by a Nissan Dealership, mostly Universal City Nissan. It currently has 127K miles on it. I recently replaced the interior head liner and the alternator. Four wheel drive works. I have saved all of the vehicle history and receipts. It has done me well for the last nine years. I am only selling it because I have decided to purchase a new vehicle. It fits in compact parking spaces! I just had the interior professionally shampooed. It looks great and runs flawlessly. It is a solid practical vehicle. It needs four new tires. A few years ago I found out it had a minor rear main oil seal leak. The dealership recommended I put cardboard down in my garage to see how much it leaked. I did, but never noticed any oil spots. On returning service visits he said there was never any significant oil level drop. They check it every time I bring it in and sometimes they notice a leak and sometimes not. He said leaks like this can correct themselves from build up around the area. I asked if it was necessary I get it fixed and he said no since it has not been an issue. This was back in Feb 2014 and it has not been a problem. I just wanted to give full disclosure and mention it since it is listed on some service reports. There are some dings and scratches. There is one scratch in the passenger front door that I touched up myself. There are three miniature dents in the rear tail gate. There is a small tear in the driver's side seat cushion. The front bumper cladding is slightly off kilter from rolling into a fire hydrant. The biggest issues are involving the hood. There is a silver dollar size dent in the front body panel right next to the hood. I have no idea how it got there. A few months ago I had some palm fronds fall and dent the hood. I replaced the hood with another one that was from the same model, but maybe a year off and the paint is slightly different. No one has ever noticed or commented on it, but if you look at it, you can see that it is a slightly different shade of the same color. There are also some paint chips in the hood; some tiny ones front and center and a few larger ones back by the windshield. It still has the original first aid kit, though I have used some items. I'll include an Adventure Medical Kit Sportsman Series Grizzly Medical Kit to make up for it. ($99 value) I have stated the vehicle's condition to the best of my knowledge. No warranty is implied or expressed. Sold in as is condition. Please ask any and all questions before bidding. On Sep-11-15 at 12:47:36 PDT, seller added the following information: I put a new piece of cardboard down to check the status. In two weeks I have noticed two or three drops of oil; not necessarily from the rear main though.
