Car sat in a garage for approximately 30 years. Story goes, previous owner ( 2nd or 3rd owner ) had some body work done, painted blue, (over original color Cordovan Maroon, code NN ), put new wheels and tires on then shortly thereafter put it in the garage. There is some rust on car, not terrible, some scale on underside. No rust through in the floors or trunk as I can see. Car has dents, dings, scratches from being used as a wall/table in the garage. Glass is good, windshield has a wiper arm scratch. I drove the car home after purchase, ( approx. 50 miles ). Replaced all fluids, rad hoses, water pump, fuel pump, fan clutch, thermostat, power steering gear ( leaking ), fuel tank and sender, battery tray and cables, motor mnts, timing chain and gear, shocks and rear springs. (Anything you would normally do to make the car functional/safe, not just throwing parts at it.) I kept all parts that were original to the car if possible and will be with the car when sold. Some aftermarket parts I have installed on the car will not be sold with the car unless otherwise agreed upon between myself and the winning bidder.Car runs strong and everything functions. I have drove this car a lot and trust it around town. Motor does need the valves done. Motor does smoke minimally. Does not make noise.Car has original black interior with bench seat that is pretty decent for it's age with original AM radio. A few tears in the front seat, nothing major. Normal wear and tear.Has original 327 325 horsepower engine, factory heavy duty 3 speed Borg Warner transmission with Muncie shifter on the floor, 12 bolt 3:55 posi.The original carburetor is missing.Photos are included showing part numbers and dates for you to research.You are welcome to make an appointment to inspect the car before auctions end. You are responsible for your own homework as to verifying anything about the car. I will provide as much information as reasonably possible to help.The car is 47 years old and will need work/parts. How much and to what extent is up to you. *This is a rare car by todays standards as you just cannot find them and let alone with all the original parts, so please be serious about the value and auction.Please do not bid if you are not serious or do not have the funds to purchase. A $500.00 deposit is required of you within 2 days of auction end if you are the winning bidder. The balance of the money due, for the total sale, is due within 5 days after deposit is received. The deposit will not be refunded if you do not complete the sale within the terms stated.
