* NO RESERVE AUCTION! HIGHEST BID WINS!!!! Up for auction is my 2005 Pontiac Montana SV6 Custom Camper Van / Conversion Van. It's a V6 Automatic Silver with Gray interior. This was the top of the line Mini Van that Pontiac had for "05" & this van is equipped with pretty much every option that was available: GM V6 3.5L Motor, AWD, Power Window, Power Locks, Cruise Control, Power Driver Seat, Am/Fm Stereo with CD-DVD TV, Upgrades Wheels etc...( You get the idea...) But that's not the big deal! I bought this van because of my son. He's involved in Scouting and I of course was asked to go on overnight trips. Because of my bad back, I could not handle sleeping out in the cold & on the ground! So I decided to convert this van into a "Camper Van". This started as a father & son project but quickly we realized we were in over our heads! So we had a local carpenter, car interior shop & solar electrician finish things off. I chose the SV6 because of it's AWD system with auto air leveling. Good for those mild off road trips, mud & snow. Not to mention the parts for this van can be purchased at any local auto parts store. So what was done to the van: -Interior was removed & the rear compartment walls & sealing were insulated with spray foam. The floor was insulated with a space paint insulation, then a vapor layer along w/ a foil product like backpacker use. -Sub floor was installed then, on top laminate tile in the main section and carpet in the rear. -Custom Storage boxes were made w/ RV 10 pound latches, then the cabinets were plumed for electrical for the solar panels. (2) 12V (AGM) 100Ah(20hr) Battery were installed along with a 20A Solar Charge Controller. -Custom bed base was made and installed from steel square stock for strength, for the Custom Bed/Couch. -2 Solar Panels install on the roof w/ a Solar Power charger, which charges the batteries & provides usable power at the same time. -12V Pure White LED Bulbs installed to save power. -Under cabinet lighting was installed along with power outlets to use the solar panels or the shore power. -Custom thermal curtain installed for privacy. -Additional unlock switch was install in the rear w/ an emergency pull to open the back door. -Custom toilet enclosure installed to house the portable toilet. -Engine Heater & Battery Warmer Blanket installed. "Just to name a few upgrades" The van has all the amenities that a larger camper would have them some. Like any used car it's not perfect! The GOOD: The Vans body looks good with just a few minor dings. It starts up every time the first time. The V6 engine is very strong and reliable and still has a lot of life left in it. You can drive this van anywhere, right now! Everything works on the Van, the windows, locks, Radio, DVD Payer, etc., all operate like they should. The A/C also is ice cold, and functions properly... Its Just a Great Van! The BAD: Not much to say really. The remote came unpaired so you need to use the key to unlock the van, but it will be included so you may be able to reprogram it. Also the tachometer backlight is not working. It was like that when I bought it, the TACH works fine but at night its hard to read. The MPH backlightis however is fine. Other than a few dings and scratches that's about that it... I'm including just about everything in the photos: toilet, cooler, 12v coffee maker, paper towel holder, water thermos, trash container, Fan, drawer dividers etc.. But not any of the clothing or sleeping bags. If you would like to buy my van please just bid or buy it now. When you bid, you are entering into a binding contract to buy the Van!
