Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1969 Camaro Z28 302 DZ 4 speed 4.10 12 bolt all numbers matching, one owner and all original paperwork 57,000 miles Vietnam Car You heard those Vietnam stories, this one is true and the gentlemen (original owner) is still alive. This is the Z28 Camaro to own ordered from Vietnam. How are is this? THIS WILL BE ONLY OFFERED ONCE HERE ON EBAY. IF IT DOES NOT SELL IT WILL GO INTO STORAGE WITH THE REST OF MY CARS. GOOD LUCK AND BID TO WIN, THIS IS AN AWESOME CAR! The gentleman was station in Vietnam when he ordered the Z28. The Colonial Chevrolet company Dealership in Delaware was close to where he was going to be stationed when he got back to the US. His grandmother (Ruth from PA) went to the dealership to sign for the car and pick it up for her grandson (William), Yes William did get his military discount of $477.70, its in the paper work. Being over seas, the Z28 went into the grandmother’s name and when William returned to CT he transferred the car into his name. It’s all in the paperwork The car is not a 100% show car (trailer Queen) but it’s a beautiful car. The Z28 has so much of its original stuff its unbelievable. What I mean by that is the Body and paint is awesome. The interior is all original has some flaws. I never took down the headliner so the original build sheet is more than likely still there. The 302 engine is all rebuilt and Dyno’d (I have video of the engine getting dyno). The whole car has been gone through. All number matching engine, trans, and rear end. All the original parts that where on the car were rebuilt or refurbished. Has the original Bumpers are on the car, Rims, Jack, Air pump, water pump and I can go on. The only parts that are replaced are the fuel lines, gas tank, Brake lines, Fan belts, Tires and stuff like that. I know its all original and numbers matching but I still wanted Jerry MacNeish to look over all vins and dates. He verified that all is correct and also this may be the only green on green. This Z28 Camaro 302 DZ 4 speed 4.10 12 Bolt Had almost every original parts on it from new before resto and all its paperwork from when it was ordered. Even his military bumper sticker dated 1970, First Naval District If you have any question please ask , Good Luck and Bid to WIN This Super Rare Car. Thats William in the picture I added. This was the first time he seen it since it left his house. He had so many stories about the car, very cool. Let me fix this, Ruth was William's Mother not his grandmother. Who ever wins the car will also get pictures of the car at William"s in the garage when I pick up the Camaro, I also have pictures of all the factory markings on the car from the factory and also have all pictures of the car before and disassembly of the car, documenting everything I could.
