Selling my Mk2 1990 VW Jetta Coupe. NO RESERVE AUCTION!! Sorry for the bad cell phone pics. This little joupe has had lots of time, effort and money put into it. The old 1.8 gas motor was pulled out and the engine bay was shaved and repainted, this includes deleting many unwanted parts to get that clean but still functional look and feel. The 1.8 motor was replaced with a obd1 2.0 aba motor with a mk4 aeg mk4 manifold. Motor also features a mild cam file a chipped ecu to match. The coolant system was rerouted and changed to a top fill radiator deleting the expansion tank and some unneeded lines, the cooling fan was converted to a slim radiator mounted fan. The entire A/C system was deleted, the coil pack was remounted and hidden. An oil catch can was installed, the transmission was converted to hydraulic including a g60 corrado o2a transmission, clutch, booster bracket, axles, shift box and cables etc etc. the brakes were upgraded to Corrado g60 brakes front and back including the rear disc conversion. The wiring for the motor and lights has all been tucked and hidden for a cleaner look. Exhaust has been done and has headers. May have slight rattle in the rear but sounds great. She really gets up and goes. The suspension features fully adjustable coilovers and many fresh components like wheel bearings strut mounts etc. Also features Borbet wheels with good tires, they are currently coated in black removeable plastidip. The interior features front and rear corrado leather bucket seats. they are embroidered with a vw emblem and nuespeed in headrests. the back seats still need some modification to fit correctly. Also installed a new pioneer CD player the antenna does not work but I always just used the aux port. Everything in the dash cluster is functional ie; temp, fuel gauge tach speedo etc etc. The exterior still cleans up really well but is not perfect, there are a few dings and scratches here and there. there also is a little clear coat peeling that is pictiured. the worst of it is on the hood that is also pictured. The hood is rough on it. I always ran hood-less to show off the engine bay. The exterior is very rust free on it for being in minnesota. none that i know to even speak of. The car runs and drives excellent i have been daily driving it for some time now and is a ton of fun.
