Vehicle Detail
2004 Ford Crown Victoria P71 Police InterceptorOriginally a police vehicle from the City of Audubon Park Kentucky! Vehicle has a clear Indiana title... ready to transfer to a new owner! 4.6L Modular V8 SOHC Engine4 Speed Automatic Transmission154,373 Miles* (Accurate) * Mileage may increase slightly as the car is for sale locally as well and it may go on test drives.Runs good! Very strong engine. No knocks, misses or anything like that. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SOME THINGS WORTH MENTIONING... Because nobody likes surprises! - The tire tread is low. They're okay, but will more than likely need to be replaced sooner than later. - Some minor rust beginning to develop under the doors and inside the wheel wells. - The AC is operational, but will probably need to be recharged.- There are various holes in the interior trim pieces where police equipment was previously mounted.- There's a hole in the roof (plugged with silicone and a rubber plug) where a lightbar cord was previously ran.- The battery in this car is weak. If the vehicle sits for more than a day or two, it will need a boost to start. - The steering is very stiff. I suspect the power steering pump has died and will need to be replaced. - The car has various dings, scrapes and scratches. (It's an 11 year old used police vehicle. It's to be expected.)- The airbag light is on. I don't know why. It's been on ever since I bought it and I never cared enough to research it. - The bulbs in the instrument panel were replaced with cheap LEDs, and some are starting to fail and flicker.- The car is due for an oil change. (I used Mobil 1 5w30 Full Synthetic ever since I've owned it.) - Some impressions and residue remain from where the old police logos and decals used to be. - The spotlight works, but the handle can be finicky at times. It probably needs taken apart and the contacts cleaned. - There's a tear in the top of driver's seat (see pic) maybe it rubbed against a shotgun mount, or something? - The check engine light comes on from time to time for an EVAP fault. I was told it has something to do with the gas fill neck grommet. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Inspections in person are encouraged and highly recommended. The car is located at my warehouse facility in Butler Indiana. Please call Charles with any questions not answered here: (260) 414-4981
