Vehicle Detail

1972 Camaro, 92% done, Do not miss out on this one. If you want a 1970 -1973 camaro this is the one!! Here is the story. I bought this back in 1986. Sold it in 2008. Bought it back by chance from someone in Kokomo in 2010. I need to sell it, but it needs to bring the kind of money of a car with all GM sheet metal and the quality that this one is. Don't be fooled by cars that never make there reserve. I am listing this one to sell!! Full quarters, inner and outer fenders, trunk pan, tail pan. (big money for just metal bought back in late 80's $3000 ish in metal) ALL GM, not to mention work to do it $4000 and then to paint the car many many many hours? $3000 there minimum. Paint has a couple of nicks on it. Floors were not replaced, Floor is solid with couple small places. Seats are original to car when I bought it back in the 80's, they need cleaning and back pad needs a small repair up top. Rockers were not replaced and front drivers fender has a small spot that needs attention. Tail light metal at seem was not done to my satisfaction but it is passable. Rear sub frame is new! Look at pictures. $2500 to get that done. Paint is about 6 years old. Engine I bought here just a couple months ago 402cuin, it is a 1972 402 cuin with less than 100 miles on it. $2500 . If you keeping total.... $15,000 something then add a rebuilt turbo 400 with drive shaft loop. Posi 10 bolt 4.10 gears that have been in there since late 80's, I made traction bars in late 80's. Has a rear sway bar. New BF Goodrich tires, camaro Z rims... tack on another $1000. Drive shaft is new and was made at Patterson drive shaft here locally. List goes on. You can not put this car together for less than $20,000. My reserve is a quite few thousand less than $20,000 and very reasonable. This car does need finished. I have the new carpet and left it out so everyone can see the floor. I intended on putting a 4spd but transmission was stolen. Pedals are still in the car and 4spd hump is in car also. I have a couple gauge clusters, one bought on here, they go with the car, you finish dash and gauges. Engine has headers but car needs exhaust from headers back. You pick size and configuration.Heater core is in the car and fan/ firewall configuration is bolted in but not finished. Wipers and motor hooked up. Headlights need springs and adjusters.I have mirrors for both sides, they did not make it to the body shop. They go with the car. Door handles missing but a easy cheap buy. Needs trunk lock.Window seals are good, weather strips around top and edge of window are needed. Headliner is good, there are no visors. This car needs finished. Some items bolted on for picture purposes. I do not have time to finish this car and I would like to see it with someone that will give it the TLC it needs and deserves. Car Will have to be trailered!!! What you see is what you get. The hard work is already done! Great father and son project to finish. Please please Ask questions please. See my feedback. I will answer all questions. If I missed something please ask!! Call 317-340-5632 ask for Bill. Car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction anytime. If bid gets to mid teens I will let the auction run its course. I have been buying and selling 60's and 70's cars since early eighties. I am tired and out of gas. I will also be listing a big block 1969 manual trans camaro that is all metal but no paint.Items I owe winner and go with car,(carpet, two sets of gauge cluster, inside plastic trim that goes over around door seal, vent Y that goes to defroster, and wood grain cover over gauges). Thank You and Happy bidding. On Aug-04-15 at 15:06:29 PDT, seller added the following information: I also have a couple of mirrors drivers with the remote and a passengers mirror that go with the car, they need to be painted to match the car. If there is anything else I will list it as a revision. Thank you, BillOn Aug-06-15 at 08:53:06 PDT, seller added the following information: I lowered the reserve to keep the bid going and the reserve has been taken off. This car is for sale locally, if you are interested in the camaro please bid on it. I will not let it sell for $9k or $10k there is too much there to sell that cheap. This is a rare opportunity to buy a 2 gen camaro that typically sells for $17k and up.On Aug-08-15 at 09:42:27 PDT, seller added the following information: Bid close enough....--> Camaro will be sold to the highest bidder in this auction <---- Bid to win!!! Great car at a great deal!!
