If you are thinking of learning to drive a manual, there is no better car to start on. It is a very easy car to drive. The Driver's Edition was only made for 2 years. It was one of the best available trim packages for 2013 and 2014. What sets the Drivers Edition GTI apart? Limited availability! It was my daily-driver for 2 years. Initially bought it to commute (great for that with 30 MPG hwy). This car is ridiculously fun to drive. You will not find a better balance in performance, luxury, and dependability for the money. It is in great condition. Interior has no flaws, it barely looks used. There are some small sratches here and there on the paint, as would be expected from a 2 year old daily driver. The car was maintained at 5k intervals (Factory recommends 10k). It was serviced at Capistrano VW, and Pacific German. All receipts are on file with both vendors. Only the best oil and parts were used. The car was washed weekly, and waxed monthly by a mobile detailer who came to my office. It was just clayed and waxed, and oil just changed. It is good on service for the next 5k, or 6 months. New performance tires (FALKEN FK453) were installed in March 2015. This GTI is modified! It is smog-legal in CA, and all modifications were professionally installed by Pacific German, a very reputable shop in Orange County.
