For auction is a 1985 Grey Market Euro Mercedes 500 SEL.I bought this as a project car but need to sell it to help pay hospital bills. 135453 miles, runs/drives good, needs brakes bad (pads and rotors). Doesn't smoke, shifts good, 5.0 aluminum V8, LOTS of power! Needs tune up, has a tiny bit of rough idle but runs smooth on freeway.I have both the English and German owners manuals.New refurbished battery. brand new hood pad goes with it also. Starter solenoid is starting to go, I have a good used starter that goes with it. Solid car, no rust, a little rust on parcel shelf, under car is very good.It has a replacement dash top that just needs glued down.Sunroof does work but it closes slow, I'm not sure why. New exhaust, just changed oil, passenger side exhaust manifold has small leak. BRAND NEW 17" AMG replica rims with Pirelli P zero tires with only about 1000 miles on them.Theres over $1000 in rims and tires alone!! It had a high idle that I have fixed with a toggle switch, to fix it right it will need an idle control module. It has been painted satin black at some point, its not the best paint job but it looks really nice at 15 feet.I started to buff it out and it should shine up pretty decent. It might need an alignment as it pulls just a little bit.AC works but needs charged and the compressor is noisy. good heat. All gauges work, all buttons on dash seem to work. turn signals don't self cancel. 2 of the windows need regulator clips, its an easy/cheap job, they are $10 on ebay for all 4 doors. All of the windows are tinted, the rears are dark, its a very gangster looking car! All the seats are heated and power, even the rears.Driver side rear seat doesn't move, motor works but seat don't move. Interior shows a little wear on drivers seat and top of back seats. Parcel shelf is out of it right now as I was going to restore it. This is a grey market car with all of it's euro lights and bumpers. All of the words on the dash are in German. All it needs is just finished up and some TLC, all of it is pretty easy to do. I also have the original alloy rims that will go with it. Clean title in hand, it is ready to go.It is driveable to where ever you need to go, just watch the brakes.It will stop fine, you just need to give yourself some distance.
